In Feng Shui, your home is a mirror to your life.  Every inch of it has a symbolic meaning, so while spring-cleaning your home this year, consider the effect it is also having on your life….

Windows = the eyes of your home.  If you would like more clarity on a situation, wash your windows.

Front Door = is the mouth of the home.  If you want to increase your intake (more money, good health, more opportunities) then spruce up the front entrance.  Clear away any obstructions including hedges or branches.

Kitchen = the health center of your home.  Improve your health and eating habits by cleaning up and decluttering the kitchen.  Refrigerator, cupboards, cabinets or even “junk drawers” are all good places to start.

Home Office = your business center and power place.  Nothing is more empowering in a home than to have a well organized home office.  Feeling stuck or need a boost?  Vacuum, dust or just get the windows open in your office.  Adding a fresh new plant to your desk is also a great symbol for growth and will also aid in freshening the air.

Bed = Symbolizes sleep and support.  Difficulty sleeping?  Clean out any storage under the bed or move the bed to a new location in the room, maybe you would sleep better with your head pointing in a new direction?
